I am Rain — Chengdu-based, English-speaking, and happiest when visitors leave with a working phone, a full stomach, and a sense that China can feel navigable.
What this studio is
Rain Studio is a personal practice spanning local hospitality and visual storytelling. The Chengdu Local Friend line helps foreign visitors with arrivals, WeChat and Alipay, and private days in the city. Photography and film feed the same curiosity about place.
Right now, delivery is personal. The brand is built so a small team of trusted people can join later without turning this into a mass tour platform.
How I work
- Private groups only — never bus tours or flag-waving scripts.
- Clear prices in CNY, with USD context when helpful.
- Public content stays practical and faceless-friendly; trust happens in conversation.
- Questions before you fly belong on WhatsApp; after setup we can switch to WeChat.
